The Lay of the Land
To learn more about Arts District Houston, visit our Welcome Center where you will find suggestions of things to do in the area as recommended by local artists and can view a new large scale exterior mural by Houston artist David Maldonado. Area maps and a walking guide are also available. The Welcome Center is open to the public every Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm (and by appointment Wednesday thru Friday).
Getting Here & Getting Around
Although much of the district is walkable, you will probably want to have some mode of transportation to explore all that the district has to offer.
There is free parking available throughout the District.
Uber and Lyft are great ways to get where you need to go.
Houston BCycle has several bike-sharing stations in the District. Find the one closest to you here: https://www.houstonbcycle.com/houston-bstations
